My Story

Major Emmett R. Roberts, US Army, Retired, serves as the President / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Roberts Strategic Solutions, LLC and is the Founder / President / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Maryland Veterans Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

Sincere professionalism in the fields of law enforcement, international affairs, and anti-terrorism and force protection characterizes the 26-year Army veteran, Mr. Roberts. His services includes Private Investigation, Executive Protection, Armed / Unarmed Security Guards, Background Check, Fingerprinting, Firearms Training, Commercial Defense Training, and Home Protection Training. A strategic problem-solver who envisions intelligent solutions and executes them with urgency at all organizational levels, he is a versatile and high-energy executive who guides organizations through change and challenges to profitable growth. He is a hands-on leader with an extensive background in project management and leadership, and an exceptional strategist who is capable of delivering in a highly competitive market. Providing demonstrated abilities in conjunction with 26 years of executive leadership experience to substantially advance corporate objectives. Further, he possesses a Top-Secret clearance.

 

 

As a former member of the armed forces, Mr. Roberts is profoundly dedicated to continuing to serve the nation and support his fellow veterans. As the Founder / President / CEO of the Maryland Veterans Chamber of Commerce (MDVCC), he proudly assumes the leadership position that entails cognizance of the distinctive obstacles and prospects encountered by veterans within the realm of commerce in the state of Maryland. Mr. Roberts’ motivation is to utilize his varied education, skills, and experiences to address intricate business challenges directly and have a positive impact on the corporate environment through the development of inventive solutions. Mr. Roberts’ unwavering commitment is to optimize operational effectiveness, cultivate strategic expansion, and advocate for sustainable methodologies, all in an effort to effectuate a constructive transformation within the veteran business community. Mr. Roberts’ aspiration is to serve as a catalyst for constructive transformation by persistently fostering innovation and surmounting challenges in order to establish a business environment that is more robust and prosperous for veterans, spouses, and their enterprises. His intent is to construct a more robust and prosperous future for all those who have served by unifying and collaborating on business opportunities.

 

 

As Army National Protection Officer for the Army National Guard (ARNG), the principal oversaw ARNG protection program-related affairs with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Headquarters Developed Areas (HQDA), Major Commands, 54 States / Territories, Branch Chiefs, and Division Chiefs, among other agencies. He supported working groups and initiatives established by HQDA, NGB, and ARNG protection that were related to ARNG protection; he oversaw all Emergency Management, Critical Infrastructure, and Anti-Terrorism endeavors; and he supplied training, resources, and policy to safeguard ARNG facilities, equipment, and personnel. Moreover, he was responsible for the supervision of affairs concerning security, law enforcement, and related policies and issues. He commanded program areas including Border Operations, National Guard Reaction Force, Non-Lethal Capabilities, and the Law Enforcement Threat Information Cell, in addition to overseeing operational matters pertaining to law enforcement. Oversaw research, assessed, revised, and implemented law enforcement policy and direction.

 

 

Over the course of his military career, he held the positions of Defense Support of Civilian Authority (DACA) Officer, Force Protection Officer, Embedded Trainer Mobilization Trainer / 181st and 191st Infantry Brigades, Executive Officer, EUCOM Regional Coordinator, Foreign Liaison Officer, Aide-de-Camp to a Two-Star General, Battalion Assistant S-3, Company Commander, Company Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader.

 

 

Medals and Awards honored for Mr. Roberts consist of the following: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Global War on Terrorism Services Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbons, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Staff Identification Badge, and the German Armed Forces Efficiency Badge Bronze.

 

 

Mr. Roberts has served as a member of the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations over the past 35 years; and served on the Advisory Board of the Prince George’s County Office of Veteran Affairs. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, Prince Hall Free and Accepted Masonry, and Jonathan Davis Consistory.
